Chase the sunrise
every single day
I'm Blodin Selimi. I run marathons on discipline I borrowed from David Goggins and an obsession with getting better I learned from Kobe. Every sunrise is a brand-new start line — so I lace up, smile, and go chase it.
Based in the Alps — chasing sunrises everywhere

The Goggins Grit
Callus the mind
Half of my engine is pure discipline, borrowed from David Goggins. These aren't quotes on a wall — they're the reason I'm still smiling and moving when the race thinks it has me.
The 40% Rule
When your mind says you're done, you're only 40 percent in. I live in the other 60 — the part most people never meet.
Callus The Mind
Comfort is the enemy of growth. I volunteer for the harder job, the colder morning, the steeper hill. That's where the strength gets built.
Stay Hard
Motivation fades by breakfast. Discipline shows up when you feel nothing. I don't run when I feel like it — I run because I said I would.
🏀 The Mamba Mentality
Obsessed with getting better
The other half of my engine comes from the hardwood. I grew up loving basketball, and Kobe's Mamba Mentality is how I attack every mile: an endless, joyful chase to be the best version of myself.
“The moment you give up is the moment you let someone else win.”
Mamba Mentality
Be obsessed with getting better — not perfect, better. Today's run only counts if it moves me one inch closer to the runner I'm chasing.
The 4 A.M. Club
Kobe worked while the world slept, so I do too. The quiet miles before sunrise are exactly where the gap gets built.
Everything Is Fuel
Pressure, doubt, a bad split — all fuel. I take what was meant to break me and burn it into the next negative split.
Job's Not Finished
I want to cross every finish line knowing there was nothing left to give. Leave it all out there — that's the only way I know how to play.

The Runner
Blodin Selimi
I chase the best version of myself — the one who got up before sunrise yesterday and the one already waiting at the next start line. Running gave me discipline. Basketball gave me obsession. Put them together and you get someone who genuinely loves the grind.
I wasn't born fast — I was born stubborn. Years ago I couldn't run a mile without stopping. Then I mixed Goggins' discipline with Kobe's obsession, started hunting the discomfort instead of dodging it, and fell in love with the process. Now the marathon is just where I go to keep the promise, and every sunrise is another chance to get better.
Non-negotiables
- No zero days. Every single day earns a run.
- The alarm is not a suggestion.
- Callus the mind before you callus the feet.
- Fall in love with the process, not just the podium.
On The Road
Moments from the miles
Medals, worn-out shoes, and the quiet trails before sunrise. This is what the grind actually looks like.

Run happy. Run hard.
Chasing a first marathon, a new PB, or just someone to drag you out the door for a sunrise run? I train with people who are done making excuses and ready to enjoy the grind. If that's you, let's go.
